Most of you probably won’t know which is our guy actually. You probably have not met the guy or even seen him around. I vaguely remember Murray Turner being a part of Shebeen Boys rugby way back when. I think he even owns the number 71 on the Shebeen member list. Can you tell which one is Murray?

Considering the loss of momentum during the Easter break, management decided that a grudge fixture would be a great idea… So we are taking the Wild Boys on once again, hoping to right the wrong of a few weeks ago.

If you do not know the De Villiers field: Use the entrance to SACS off Main Street (The road that Barrister’s is on). Go through the school all the way to the exit onto Dean Street, and De Villiers is the last field on the left.

Shebeen watches Two Oceans road race

Hello ladies and gents
Once again the Shebeen Boys will have a few intrepid runners taking part in the Old Mutual Two Oceans (half) Marathon. The world’s prettiest race.

So come on down to watch and support and have a chill or a catch up.
The regulars will be there from 7am, about a km from the finish. Basically above Forries on the main drag there. Bring supplies for a skottel or whatever you would like.

Week 2 of the Steinhoff Internal League 2011, and we are being thrown what will be one of our toughest games of the entire season! Having shown a lot of grit and determination against them last year, it is definitely time for Shebeen Boys to go one further and get the big “W” out of this fixture…

On the eve of our ninth year at UCT in the internal league, we need all your help ASAP!
If you want to play Shebeen Boys rugby this year, you will need to send your details to Rich richi@shebeenboys.co.za or Wazza warren@shebeenboys.co.za by the end of the day. Details must include ID numbers, phone numbers and student numbers.
BUT, the MOST IMPORTANT thing before you run on that field on Wednesday night is to PAY your subs. EACH and EVERY ONE of YOU!
Annual membership is R100
Shebeen Boys rugby is R350
