Bowling in brief

Last night all four teams came apart at the seams! S&*# s$&* s2*! Although it must be said that Andrew Moir did bowl one great ball. One great ball. Next week, I tell you, next week, we’ll get those pesky smurfs! The beers afterwards were mighty tasty though – just reward for such wayward bowling. Plus I went and got a really tasty chicken black bean afterwards at The Jewel of the East on Milner Road. Tasty, very tasty.

On a more important note: tonight’s rugby sees the Stormers take on the Force and the Sharks hosting the Tahs. Two cracker games. Two great excuses for a couple of beers. And then tomorrow the game of the weekend the Bulls at Loftus against the Cheetahs (let’s hope it doesn’t end like last year’s Currie Cup final).

ALSO, PLEASE NOTE: Touch rugby on Sunday has reverted to 5pm due to popular request and general bitching about 6pm. So… don’t say we don’t care about your wants and needs. 5pm it is!
