8 Springbok supporters make a wave in RSA

Complacency: A feeling of contented self-satisfaction, especially when unaware of impending trouble (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/complacency)

After calls on facebook and various websites, only 8 people marched yesterday afternoon to save the Springbok emblem. Despite such an embarrassing turnout, we managed to make the SABC 2, 3 and KFM news bulletins, and again today’s Cape Times.

8 people managed this!! Imagine there were 10,000….

The world is bigger than sitting complacently in an office or in a lecture room. When and if the emblem is demolished the ones that did not try to prevent it, have NO RIGHT to moan or groan about it. If you want that right, you have to earn it by trying to stop it from happening now.

  3. While I do agree that the Springbok should be retained as it stands now I have no faith in South African democracy. So that is why I wasn’t there.
